Minecraft is working with Ninja Turtles, just in time for the beloved Heroes in a Half-Shell to return to the big screen later this month. Minecraft is no stranger to colorful crossovers with famous properties, with several licensed DLC texture packs being released over the years that feature characters and worlds from Sonic the Hedgehog, Jurassic Park, and Toy Story just to name a few.
Meanwhile, the pizza-loving, crime-fighting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have a long and storied history with gaming, with numerous titles being released during the various eras of the franchise. In recent years, the Turtles have seen a return to their arcade-style beat-em-up roots in 2022’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, which is about to get a DLC expansion later this year. and it is said to draw inspiration from Sony Santa Monica’s recent God of War titles.
