PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers now have an exciting new perk available to them. They can enjoy the ability to stream certain native PS5 games, starting this month. This feature includes cloud streaming for supported titles found within the PS Plus Game Catalog, as well as game trials and personal user libraries.

The PlayStation Blog recently published a post that outlines the PS5 games that are compatible with a specific feature. Some of the notable titles mentioned in the post are Ghost of Tsushima, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon: Forbidden West, Mortal Kombat 11, and Saints Row IV. In addition to the aforementioned games, such as Hogwarts Legacy, The Calisto Protocol, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, game trials can also be streamed. Moreover, you will also have access to downloadable content (DLC) and add-ons for a richer gaming experience.

In the realm of cloud gaming, the future looks promising with the ability to stream games in up to 4K resolution and a smooth 60 frames per second (subject to your internet speed). Not only that, but these games will also support full DualSense functionality and immersive Tempest 3D audio. Sony has ambitious plans to have “hundreds” of titles incorporate this feature in the coming years.

Sony, the renowned tech company, is implementing cloud streaming services in a phased manner across Japan, Europe, and North America. The rollout will take place on specific dates for each region.

Japan – October 17

Europe – October 23

North America – October 30

Just a friendly reminder, the Premium tier is now the highest priced option among the three tiers of PS Plus subscription. Sony recently increased the annual membership prices, making it even more expensive than before. Cloud streaming services can be a convenient feature for members, although the experience may vary depending on the quality of your internet connection. As a Premium subscriber, you have the option to take advantage of cloud streaming. Feel free to share your thoughts and let us know in the comments if you plan to make use of this perk.
