Last week, the highly anticipated game Assassin’s Creed Mirage was released on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. The game has received positive feedback from both critics and fans who are thrilled with its return to the series’ original style and concept. Mirage presents a contrasting experience compared to games like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, as Basim is not featured in it. This game offers a smaller and more condensed adventure, deviating from the open-world RPG format seen in the previous titles. Just a week after its release, Ubisoft has announced that Mirage’s player count is comparable to that of previous games like Origins and Odyssey. In fact, Mirage has achieved the highest sales numbers among all of Ubisoft’s recent new-generation launches.

In addition to sharing updates on their latest news, Ubisoft also shared some interesting statistics about the achievements of Mirage players within a short span of six days.

  • 479 collective years spent parkouring the rooftops of Baghdad

  • 60 million Leaps of Faith

  • 1.2 million street cats pet

“With the number of players in line with past successful launches such as Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, we are humbled by the positive reception,” Ubisoft’s statement reads. “We are proud to also share that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the biggest New Gen launch in terms of units sales to date at Ubisoft (PS5, Xbox Series X/S). A big congratulations to the Bordeaux Studio and all its partners in the project for this accomplishment.”
