Exclusive mugshots of iconic rappers 2Pac and Biggie, never seen before, are set to be auctioned off next month. These highly rare images, along with a remarkable recording of Biggie’s last concert, will be available for sale by GottaHaveRockAndRoll. According to the seller, the footage captured at the Sting Festival in Jamaica stands out for its exceptional clarity and surpasses any similar footage currently circulating online. What’s more, the buyer will gain ownership of the copyright to this footage. In addition to that, they will also receive a copy of Biggie’s festival agreement with Sting.
The footage from the festival is anticipated to be sold for a significant amount, ranging between one and two million dollars. On the other hand, each mugshot polaroid is projected to fetch a high price of up to $40K. As part of the auction, Biggie’s mugshot will be included along with a heartfelt thank you note written by the rapper during his time in jail. The auction is scheduled to take place from October 25 to November 10.
